Knockando 12 Jahre 0,7l, alc. 43 Vol.-% Whisky der Monats The history of the ChivasKnockando Distillery was founded in 1898 during the whiskey boom and was named after the town in which it is located. The distillery sells its own single malts with an age statement. However, the main output goes into the J&B Blended Scotch Whisky. As early as 1985, the one billionth bottle of Knockando was filled in the distillery in the presence of then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Knockando 12 years matured the entire time in ex bourbon casks.
